Should the Writer Present the Counterclaims?

Should the Writer Present the Counterclaims? In an argumentative essay, where should the writer present the counterclaim? The answer to this question has a significant impact on the potential success of the argument. In many cases, students will often write their essay in a way that makes it much more difficult to combat the counterclaim. The reason for this is that many students will present the counterclaim and then argue in favor of the other side. Instead, they can do better by presenting the counterclaim first. If they do not know the counterclaim or do not feel comfortable with it, then they can skip to the conclusion. In this way, they get to the meat of the argument, which is where the essay is most successful. This is a common problem with students who are preparing to write an argumentative essay. They often write the essay in such a way that makes it difficult to beat the counterclaim. Many times, students will only read a paragraph of a chapter or a paragraph of a paragraph in an entire book. Because of this, they rarely get to the main points of the argument and are very likely to be confused by the author's lack of use of counterclaims. In fact, the fact that students rarely get to present the counterclaims can make them weak on the actual argument. The purpose of the argument is to explain the main points of the argument. If the author presents the counterclaim without any evidence or specific arguments, he or she is just giving the reader more reasons to reject the main point. Since he or she is not able to defend the main point, the argument is bound to be defeated.Another issue is that when the writer does present the counterclaims, the reader is left with little choice but to agree with them. When the author writes that the author believes the counterclaims are valid, then he or she cannot easily persuade the reader otherwise. It seems clear that the counterclaims are correct. In order to debate the counterclaims, the author must have stronger ev idence for their position. In an argumentative essay, where should the writer present the counterclaims? When you begin the argument, you must present a strong case against the counterclaim. You should do so even if you do not believe that the counterclaims are true.By presenting the counterclaims first, you have given the author plenty of time to present the strong evidence for his or her side. Your opponent can never reply to your arguments because you will be on the strongest ground. At the end of the argument, your opponent can easily convince the reader that you are incorrect. In fact, many writers feel that this is a poor style because it allows the opponent to negate the arguments without any effort on the part of the writer. In order to effectively defend the arguments you make in an argumentative essay, you need to be able to produce strong evidence for your position. You can do this by providing a specific counterclaim in your essay and using it to back up your main argument . If you cannot do this, then you should skip the counterclaim and make your main argument.
